“To me” why would you want a qb who won’t use his legs to extend plays and can’t even’t competently step up in the pocket like good pocket players do!
I 100% disagree with you on the qb. I like Aidan, I think he’ll be a great backup. But he’s not the guy. This qb class is loaded, we don’t even have to go to 1 go get a guy.
Don't get me wrong. My boy Jacobs is bad. However, the backup back did great last game. When he comes in, he always gets positive yards. I think it throws off the other team. If Josh needs to heal and get healthy, let him. We'll need him later

Can we please stop with the AOC as our starter talk, I like the kid BUT he just hasn’t shown he has the skills that some of the guys in the draft have, is he our franchise QB..NO, is he better than the top 5 QB’s in the draft..NO, he would be a great backup but we need a QB that can extend plays with his legs and has pocket awareness and I’m sorry but that’s not AOC! Everything wrong with AOC is what we complained about with Carr!! We have got to get our franchise QB this year…and it’s not AOC!! Look at our division…WILSON, HERBERT, MAHOMES…are we ok with having the 4th best QB in the division until one of those 3 retire because that’s what we would have if we don’t upgrade from AOC!!

Champ Kelly isn’t going to accept a one year contract to be GM. The Raiders didn’t even draft the best Byron Young in the draft. The Rams Byron has been an impactful rookie not to mention Kobie Turner another DT playing well for the Rams.

Is that good news though? While I think the Chargers weren't really trying last week, I also think Whites and Abdullah give the Raiders a better shot at being a complete offense than with Jacobs. Jacobs in many ways is our poor man's Barry Sanders. He has the same effect as Bo Jackson which was not good. When ever he like Bo come into the game or on early downs it's too predictable. Teams really get focused when they see Jacobs and he is often crushed behind the line and limping off. He is the poster child for why you don't pay running backs. Cowboys learned. Jacobs should have been traded last year when he wasn't expensive and could have got the Raiders a draft pick. He won't even be resigned now. Raiders can't afford to always be in 3rd down and 8 or 3rd down and 12. Aidan O'Connell excels when he can do play action. Raiders will lose 42-10 if Jacobs plays and is in and out limping as usual. White should start. Jacobs should never be behind O'Connell if the Raiders want to give the Chief's a really nice Christmas present. Line him up at WR from time to time but start White.

As big as DT'S are you can rotate 4 or 5 a game. So never hurts to have depth there.

The Raiders have a better than average chance of winning this week. Ive been Patrick Graham's biggest fan of late and thought he should have gotten HC love from the Raiders, They cannot let him go, if that means sapping Pierce and Graham, so be it. But maybe PG will pull a Dan Quinn and just take the money and stay.
You are the man. I love your insights. Keep em coming. I really think he could become a monster DT especially if he puts on some weight in the offseason. I also agree about Champ. He’s being active every week. We are bringing in people to see if anything sticks. He also seems to have a good mind for the game. I would be so excited if these guys were given the keys to the raiders. Let’s build our own style our own philosophy.
