The answer to the justin Watson phenomenon– Brett Veach. Fellow ivy league guy. Both played WR. Veach has had a 4.0 hard on for this guy for 4 years now, and finally got him on his roster. Then in the off season Patrick makes the joke "who is this white dude at receiver running so fast?" And that verifies veach's belief that hes gotta push this guy onto Andy, who's hes been in the ear of all off season about how good a weapon Watson could be for them…. Enough. Watson is not anything more than a WR4 on your depth chart. And a solid special teams guy. Same as its ever been. I'm more concerned about MVS, or more so what we are thinking about his contract. I don't think hes lived up to what we paid for him. Which was probably a mistake by veach in the first place.. But we're paying this dude $10 million a year to go out game after game and only garner a couple targets a game, and we're all lucky as hell if he pulls any of them in. Cant count on these guys. I don't understand the unwillingness to get skyy Moore involved in the actual offense more.? 🤷

The Chiefs have a bunch of good receivers. Justin Watson is the least of the guys in the room. I want to see more of Toney. Sky Moore catches about everything that is thrown to him.
