  1. These Admok pens look a lot like Pelikans, but they don't come with gold nibs. The photos on the site where I chose my Admok M800s showed a gold nib. This same error or misrepresentation or lie happened to Doug Rathbun, who bought the same model from another seller on a different platform to be sent to a different country, and his were steel nibs though the pictures promised gold. The seller's rep. gave me the most annoying, dishonest, contradictory runaround imaginable, and I have no gold nibs, no refund, nothing but the Admok pens, which are really quite nice. Mine arrived with the little wrench but no box. Who stores them in their boxes anyhow? Not I, surely.

  2. Admok calls the M400 "Ingenuity", though it doesn't take a huge amount of ingenuity to flat-out copy another manufacturer's design. It is a really nice pen, though, and kudos for that. Pelikan was recently bought by another owner, and they seem more interested in office supplies and school items than in the "fine writing" division, so they fired a lot of staff and are making the Meisterstuck lines with no translucent lines, many pens are single-color demonstrators, and the "fine writing" products might be on their way down the tubes, so to speak.

  3. Yes, Miss Marilyn, I have several early Pelikans from the middle of last century and earlier. Pelikans that are current, less expensive Pelikans in all kinds of finishes and designs, a few Twists, which are very cool, and a big bunch of Admoks and other Peliwannas (like they wanna be Pelikan, but kan't. See?)
