loved the look back at early JVC sketches and notes. I recognize the geodesic dome drawings, even the arrows are the same style still. Those were a real treat to see. I broke up laughing as you called out my eye rolling at exactly the right second in the video. very good as always!
It's not junk, it's memories! Loved hearing about it. I have a couple of VCR remotes; and a VCR that they would still work with. I came across a computer punched library card in an old book that I brought home when the library at work was disposing of old books. Love the pencils! I bet you would enjoy using a bulb actuated shutter for photography, Joe!

My favorite things were the Betamax remote (80s Sony stuff was too cool) and the IBM punchcard decoder. As always, thanks for bringing us interesting objects, stories and creative inspiration!
I agree with Diane Mahar. It’s not ‘junk’ but memories, Joe. I never kept anything tangible from my high school days, no notebooks, nothing, just some memories that surface occasionally. Even in University, nothing was saved. Now, at 70, I wish I’d saved at least some of it. But, the memories are there. Thanks, Joe for reminding us to preserve our pasts.

I still have an old Sanyo Betamax recorder/player. Still works, but not new enough to have a cordless remote…the one I have gives you about a 25 foot cord LOL. Its a top loader though.
