I just wanted to ask, if you don’t mind. For archiving notes, why do you choose ring binders over discbounds? Is it because the plastic discs will become brittle over time?
Because i’ve been thinking about this for a while of the archivability of notes. What if those metal ring binders rusts? Will it affect the paper? Is plastic discbound more preferable over metal ring binders?
I prefer to archiving paper notes over digital because I like the idea of leaving something for your great granchildren to see.
The closing-opening-mechanism (or rather construction?) with one Pen Loop on the back cover and one on the top cover is also possible with leather and fabric. Because I have one leather ring binder with such a construction which is closed and locked with any pen and a friend and fellow YouTuber has the same now too. He will show it in a future video in his channel.
