  1. I just woke up as you were ending your live stream, so I am watching the replay! I love PiMiga it's come along way. Looking forward to seeing it work on a PC and hell I have some MAC's so if you can get it to boot on a MAC who knows I might put one of those to use as my only reason for having them was for Amiga Emulation.

  2. As much as I've enjoyed fiddling – I'm missing something. I had a 1200, jammed in a Mikronik tower, 1260, extra ram, PIV with TV card, prelude, NIC, SCSI disks. The PIMIGA STUFF is way more powerful, but… it just doesn't have the same 'feel'. I have not yet seen a way where we can mount CDROM in there, get CD filesystem running. As dumb as this sounds, I have CD rom media that doesn't run right unless actually mounted on Amiga kit. But I appreciate all you do! ๐Ÿ™‚

Also if future ie pcAmiga could possibly under consideration to run on a Steam Deck. That would be epic.

  4. Some of the NUCs do have Card Readers inside, so even "easyer".
Booting from NVME is coming because it will just be some boot entries, right ?

  5. With CaffieneOS, you can switch from Dopus Megallen to standard Workbench. Go to the system menu at the top and select the "Select Workbench" option

  6. Appreciate the challenge of doing this kind of stream, but it might be nice to figure out where the ~2k squeal is coming from and eliminate it. Just a friendly suggestino. ๐Ÿ™‚ OK. Never mind. Fixed at 14:40 when you powered something under the Amigas — thanks to person an chat who called it to your attention.

  7. I had an Amiga 500 in the 90's and I am enjoying Pimiga 3 now a lot on PC through WinUAE. It is the first time I am able to enjoy Amiga again and it is so simple. Not just games but also Proteacker etc. Thank you so much for making this! I tried several times throughout the years to have Amiga running on PC or Pi and I honestly gave up, too complicated. I can't wait for Pimiga 4. I think I will buy a small form factor PC for it so it becomes a dedicated Amiga in the house. Thanks!

  9. Hi Chris! creating a bootable USB with Pimiga for Arm and PC is a big challenge! I was a bit confused when you said that, so I think I need to hear it from the beginning again because I may have misunderstood something. In my humble opinion, running an emulator on a PC without JIT using Amiberry is a bit pointless. However, maybe there is a way to enable JIT under Amiberry that I am not aware of, but why bother going through all that trouble?
The only cool thing about Amiberry is that you can directly shut down the entire system from it without going into x-windows. However, unfortunately, it is very finicky and not very intuitive for me. I think the best thing to do would be to build a separate emulator specifically for Pimiga, which would be an integral part of it. This would be a global revolution because it would create a completely new operating system like MorphOS. Of course, I am just fantasizing and speculating here, also looking for inspiration.
