Mail Opening | Rover and Other Farm Updates

We’ve been a little quiet, busy in preparation for Christmas. We wanted to update you all on a few things as we get closer to having a little break next week. A few things we’ve been meaning to share with you all as well as an update on Rover from the surgeon. He’s still in hospital but doing well, just taking one day at a time.

We, well, I, open a few parcels that we’ve received recently from followers. We have a few more to open which we are going to get though in the next few days. Thank you to everyone who has sent us something, it is incredibly kind of you to think of us and so very generous.

  1. Chopper pancaked. He wasn’t leaving. I really knew he was there to stay. All 3 of them! Actually, I’m shocked we haven’t heard this about Chance. Luke has such a strong relationship with Chance. He thinks he’s home!
Prayers for Rover! He’s constantly in my thoughts.

  3. What about Rosco? I don't remember you adopting him. I really think it might break his heart to be taken from the farm. It's not only bc he loves you guys so much, it's that he thinks it's his job to protect you, and help be in charge of the pack. I would be worried he would think he was sent away for not doing his job well enough. You're the expert, so I'd love to hear what you think.

  4. When the pig speaks…. caos responds!!! It's like they have never had a toy before!! πŸ€£πŸ˜‚Or a treat!! Miss V with the pliers! Keeping the prayers going for Rover.πŸ™πŸ™ The prayers were answered for Hope, Tank and Chopper. I prayed for adoption, just not expecting it to be the Evans family! Although Hope would be set back to lose another Mom/family and she really loves Sam. Sam, you are so pretty. You should always be on camera!! We love seeing everyone!! Poor 2nd Christmas Beetle, not as lucky as the first!! Hopefully the shell will heal. I certainly understand the video slowdown during the holiday. You need to make the most of the time you all will have together. It's not for very long, and time will certainly fly by. I can hardly wait to see the cabins finished and ready for family. With that, I want to wish you a Very Happy, Joyful, Loving, family Merry Christmas and to wish you all the very possible best for the New Year and many more after that. Ready for a year full of good! πŸΎπŸ’œβ€πŸ’™πŸ”¨πŸ› πŸ”§πŸ πŸ™πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽ…πŸ₯°

  5. Sam…I know you must remember when Luke said if it was up to him he would adopt 100+ dogs…he is well on his way! LOL. I love how much you all love these dogs….kinda figured Chopper, Tank, and especially Hope were already at their forever home. Have a very Merry Christmas πŸŽπŸŽ„πŸŽ† and a Happy 2023!!! 🎊 πŸ• πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸŽ‰

  6. I could cry for the news about Hope and Tank and Chopper….. Especially Hope, because she needs all of you so much… And gosh she's so attached to you Sam. But I know it's not an easy decision… You guys are simply amazing… I wish I could do this where I live… But I don't have the resources…. But you guys are just such an inspiration, I think an inspiration for people around the world… And yes hope and prayers for Rover, Nevah, and my Chancey boy!!!

  7. I agree with Luke’s lack of understanding comment as to why no applications came forth on Tank & Chopper – they’re great dogs and very good looking. But it is what it is, so thank you for giving them a permanent home. It breaks one’s heart when Dee brings loving dogs out to your farm for a day and no inquiries come fourth. How about using Luke’s brother’s video talent to focus on some of Dee’s worthy candidates. Could you use any local TV connections to do a once-a-week focus on a particular worthy dog that Luke’s brother could focus on at Dee’s facility?

  8. Neither of you have any reason to be camera shy! Trust me, the camera loves you both❀. Sam, truly you are so beautiful, and Luke, always sexy in that salt-n-pepper beard. The only ones to outshine you are the doggos. I so enjoy watching them all, how they interact with each other, and your family. They are such lucky kids that you have chosen them. Thank you for doing this for them, and for sharing their journeys with all of us out here who have fallen in love with them. Keeping Rover in my thoughts.

  11. Congrats Tank, Chopper and Hope. I really didn't see how you could let the 2 loved bugs go ( Tank and Chopper), and Hope is such a special girl with special needs, she is already at the best place possible for her.

  12. Sending Christmas love and best wishes. You are so kind to plan ahead with videos for us while you relax and spend time with family. Especially knowing how much joy and community spirit you have created with all your sharing. I would be certain in saying many people really needed the dose of human kindness and laughs you gave them over the last few years, me included. My favourite moment was wondering who was blowing leaves around the cabins only to see that it was Wolfe in his little boy’s heaven of power tools and machines. Happy Christmas everyone.

  14. Congratulations Hope, Tank, and Chopper! Have a very Merry Christmas! Sending love and healing for Rover. Hopefully, he could be at the Farm for the New Year, if it's not Christmas. Who knows? Luke and Sam and all the dogs may want to bring Haven to the Farm and help her out in the new year. No pressure, guys! No pressure. Just a thought. 😁

  17. Another great video. Always love a package opening. Sam, you did great. Cabins are looking fantastic. Can’t wait to see final product. Happy news for Hope, Chopper and Tank. Gives me a sense of relief knowing they are in a safe, loving home. Will miss Nevaeh, though. I can understand the strong connection between you and her. Still keeping Rover in my prayers. Hope he can come home soon.
