The Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj is set to feature a spectacular drone show titled “Sky Narratives,” where a fleet of approximately 2,000 illuminated drones will light up the evening skies over the Sangam Nose—the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. This technologically advanced performance aims to bring to life legendary tales from Hindu mythology, including the “Prayag Mahatmyam” and the “Samudra Manthan” (the churning of the ocean), depicting the emergence of the Amrit Kalash (nectar pot). The drones, equipped with state-of-the-art LED technology, will create dynamic formations accompanied by synchronized music and narrative audio, offering a multisensory experience that bridges cultural heritage with modern innovation. The show is scheduled during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Mahakumbh, providing both pilgrims and locals with a unique and memorable spectacle.
