Bio:
Born in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Rafael was named in 2014 as one of the revelations coming from Brazil by the British DJMAG. With his first project, FUNKY FAT, he released tracks in 2012 and 2013 with Spinnin Records as well as two EPs (Masochist and Jealousy) with Hot Creations, the label of Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. Their songs were broadcasted by several European radio stations, such as BBC1, BBC6, Ibiza Global Radio and were in Beatport’s overall Top 10 for 3 months leading to shows in Brazil, Moscow, Ukraine and Portugal, in addition to partnerships and remixes by Jamie Jones, Vintage Culture, Miguel Campbell, Gabe, among others . Rafael has also performed in large festivals and major clubs around the world, such as Tomorrowland Brasil, Warung Beach Club, Moon Room (Krakov -Ukraine), Multidance (Moscow) Privilege Brasil, Tribe Festival , Universo Paralello Festival, Playground Festival, Mob Festival, Clubvibe, Tribal Tech Festival, D.edge, among others. In 2017, he released his solo project, KOALLA, putting out tracks with giants of the music industry, like Sony music, Universal Music, Sotrackboa, and also touring all over Brazil.

His songs constantly appear in the top charts and playlists in many platforms and stores of eletronic music distribution, making his tunes an “essential weapon” for thousands of DJs all over the globe!!!
