Appreciate the review! 🙂 The Luxor wasn't owned by MGM when I was there, so I think it was different then and maybe more upscale, but it doesn't look like a bad place to stay. 🩷 My only experience was using the restroom and a lady of the night tried to pick up my man while I was in the restroom. 😬😆 Lol Quite the experience!
I have stayed at Luxor a few times, never have stayed in the pyramid rooms… I have always stayed in the Tower one room king suites, I highly recommend those.
Also the Tower is quieter and it has its own entrance and exit on the north side of the property.
My friends & I stayed there we had a good time.
I STILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LUXOR AND THE VIBE. SOOO NOSTALGIC FOR ME. IS THE DEL MAR DELI STILL IN THERE? YOU DIDN’T MENTION IT AND I HOPE ITS STILL OPEN. AMAZING DELI SANDWICHES IN THERE. I have stayed at the Luxor, but it was a long a long time ago. It was my first time in Vegas so I liked it at the time. Doesn't look too bad for a budget hotel on the strip.
Stayed there once, had a good time, I like the casino & bars, food options ok, I feel the bad reputation is a little unfair. Great review, keep up the great content!!

Wife and I stayed at the Luxor March 26 -29 . We enjoyed it very much except the food. We got up graded from the main hotel to the west tower view of the pool. We would stay again if need be for sure.

We tried the Luxor last October and we loved it for a budget hotel!
The Luxor is a great hotel and casino, stayed here many time's and alaway's enjoyed myself. The "Diablos Cantina" is a must try! (sangria Cocktails)
In Vegas this weekend. They told me there is a surprising surplus of Modelo. They have to sell it cheap to clear inventory.

I have stayed in different towers at Luxor over 3 trips and enjoyed it and love the Fantasy show lol…the only downside of Luxor is the far South location on the strip …but I would definitely stay there again
Love the luxor always stay there, have stayed in the pyramid and tower room. I prefer the tower rooms I love the tub
This is a great hotel. It is underrated and definitely a lower budget option. An easy walk over the Mandalay hotel for higher end food options.
Stayed several time and enjoyed it. BUT I booked a room in the pyramid but never got it. Was always bumped to the tower. So I stopped staying there. Of I pay for the pyramid I want the pyramid.

Stayed here in May ‘22, it was great, it may not be as swanky as some of the others, but that doesn’t bother me! Staying here again in 11 days time, looking forward to my second visit 🙂

0:40 Maybe a good reason not to stay at the Luxor is that there is a guy laying on the ground outside on the street.

Great review ! I just got back from a stay at a Premier Pyramid room. I can vouch for the very high and soothing water pressure in the shower. They cleaned our room every day without my calling and asking, and we had a refrigerator which was nice and not the norm. Diablo's is a great restaurant with great service and reasonable prices. I am going back during Labor Day week, 5 nights for $290 total taxes and fees, which is a steal. I did get two comp nights from MGM Rewards. I am not a huge gambler but I always use my card in the slots and I am amazed how well MGM comps me for rooms. They want you back !

Stayed 3 times before and booked again for next year, I don't get the negative vibes, I've always found it fun, clean and never had an issue… and… you're staying in a Pyramid! much better than the new boring non themed tower blocks…

I've stayed at Luxor and Excalibur both were good and they both have everything that you need to do in your stay .
I can be satisfied at any hotel in Vegas I don't need fancy frills and amenities most of the hotels are very good and comfortable that's my take.
