the German airline Lufthansa, has 27 out of the 120 active Boeing 747 passenger planes currently in service, making up nearly 25% of the total. They’ve announced that they don’t plan to retire these planes anytime soon. While it’s their decision, many are surprised and wonder why Lufthansa is holding onto these planes. But to understand, we need to go back in time.

the jewel is at the end of the video.
Boeing 747 King (not Queen) of the sky.
Waiting for 777X is not sensible
What is the difference between 777x and 777-9?
W Lufthansa
Luftansa is the worst airlines be it service, dependability or punctuality. A very ardent member of Lufthansa airlines, I have seen the systematic deterioration in their customer service. I would rate them as the worst airlines much worse than even most domestic airlines.
0:38 the first aircraft is clearly an Airbus A350 and not a Boeing
I love to fly with Lufthansa the is airbus a340 and 747
1:41 thats not a dash 400
smart choice by lufthansa , the 747-400 and -800 are proven work horses , GE has manufactured a more fuel efficient engine for the 747`s , fedex and ups are purchasing used 747`s to be put back into service as cargo haulers , even japan and singapore airlines have chosen to put their parked 747` s back into service , the problems with fly by wire jetliners have proven to be very worrisome , computers basically doing whatever they choose , and not letting the pilot`s to switch to manual control
In German, Lufthansa Technik is pronounced Lufthansa Tekneek. Great video and if I win the lotto I'll buy a first class ticket to somewhere on a 747.
That was one of the worst video on an aviation industry topic I have seen so far. Mixing up pics from Airbus and Boeing, showing a text about B737 but talking about B777 and on top of it calling Lufthansa Technik a secret, while is it well known for decades, oh and the icing on the cake: showing the Lufthansa HQ in Cologne in 7:33 while saying the HQ is in Hamburg, where the Technik HQ is located, but that is not shown…
And dont forget the FIRST CLASS SEATS .
777-9 is part of 777-X program.
Is this AI made video? If not I will subscribe otherwise BYE
OK, enough; constantly mixing up images – I'm out. Whatever message you are trying to get across, sorry but typos don't help either.
Shaking stuff on the screen doesn't make it more interesting… just more annoying!
Can''t you do better than AI? Substandard video. I will not subscribe.
Terrible video, BA dont use 747s anymore so graphics out of date. Your spelling of Boeing as Boieng is bloody awful. Shows there was no checking before uploading. All in all the video quality is of schoolkid quality.
I am schocked!
you are the worst airline in the world racist behavior towards BEBE REXHA because she is from albania…

this video is terrible. info is outta date and just wrong on some points … proof reading/vrerifying needs to be your new best friend!!!! def blocking ur content for the future
Really bad.
Wrong 747-400 will be Go out.. no Update only For the -8
2:26 that's literally an rc plane, did you check if the image was real after searching on Google?
Get to the point….
Will AI be able to get the plane picture to match the type being described? Or you could employ any half decent spotter to do it for you!
I'm still in shock
The story is crap and does not match facts easily researchable online!
Your article is factually incorrect. Lufthansa announced only a week ago that they will be retiring the 747-400 in 2028.
