Jokes aside, in the manga everything looks much better, clean, subtle, elegant, the anime looks like Dragon Ball, like everyone has energy beams and weird auras, which is a bad thing for how cool and good the manga of One Piece looks. And you of course fell for it (at least partially), like many others, including a lot of manga readers themselves because they see pretty lights in high budget episodes (wasted money for nonsensical light shows). For example, wtf are those crazy epilepsy inducing lights at 10:57?? It looks cool out of context, but in context they're just random messy lights put there by animators so it looks pretty, but they don't actually exist if you were there "inside" the anime watching it as if it was irl. No elegance, no subtlety, only form and appearance, they don't make you understand what the hell is happening for real. Are they using haki? Armament haki? Conqueror's? Is it just pure strength and/or speed? Is that simply an air shockwave? Are those "lights" real or not? Are they produced everytime someone clashes while using armament haki? Who the fuck knows (manga readers know), there's no logic in it, it just looks cool (to me it looks like a mess, but to each their own). An anime only watcher actually thinks that every fight somehow produces crazy lights and energy beams… and that random Kaido's henchman "batman" tanked one of Luffy's armament haki punch, but that's a whole other story.
In short, One Piece fights aren't supposed to look like this, not even in the anime. Well, at least not before Wano apparently…

Conquers haki is not another type of haki. Haki is an energy/power system. And luffy has a conquer spirit.
So his haki is conquers haki. Conc is a strength classification of haki.
So, he's always using conc ( his haki). luffy's haki = conc haki.
I'm cool w the aura. I guess if i needed to provide notes, I would ask for it to be more consistent for meaning. There are times when I am unsure if I am seeing aura or CoC or artistic choice. I would like that to be more clear, mainly for CoC. I'm cool w everyone having their own haki aura color if that is what they are going for, but at times it is still unclear to me.. To be fair, I am easily confused 😅
