Luffy still has to prove himself in regards to his grandfather garp for the fact that garp was able to fight a admiral level opponent while at the same time fight off other black beard commander pirates like San wolf and fodder small time pirates and luffy is in the same situation to not have a drawn out fight with kizaru but to get off egghead with his crew so to make it as hype as garp luffy would have to fight kizaru while also fighting a vice admiral and some marine footsoilders at the same time just to be equal if not better than garp

An admiral is on the same level as an emperor, a fight against an admiral req careful planning. This will be a brief but significant encounter between luffy and kizaru as they are escaping, not seizing
