Just wondering what if the D in the names stand for Dreams or Dreamer or something like that "The will of Dreams" and what if devil fruit orignal name is a Dream Fruit and what if imu is like mother nature incarnate. Roger even started the Age of Dreams.

Let’s be honest that explanation of devil fruits by Vegapunk was horrible. Nobody wanted dream fruits. This only raised more questions. People dreams are endless. So endless devil fruits? What dreams are selected to be a fruit? What governs that? What are the guard rails. So if I dream about blink death fruit? anyone who I fight automatically dies if I blink? Or the fart fart fruit if anyone smells a fart they die instantly? I’m seriously about to drop this series. I got bugs bunny Luffy and the dream imagination fruits. WTF. One piece gets worse and worse each chapter. As a 20 year supporter I’m about done.
So we have Kuma and Kizaru on the way. G14 is nearby. S-Snake has been sent off with the straw hats but Lucci has gained control of the jimbe and mihawk ones. While zoro and brook are still on standby. That's a lot of irons in the fire
What if Luffys fruit is the one piece shanks was put on the mission to protect it him and his crew got drunk partying got it stolen had to steal it back from the government and after the fruit made Luffy eat it shanks still having to protect the fruit from the sea got his arm bit off protecting the fruit cause the sea(mother nature) hates the fruits Luffy influenced by nika liberates every island and person from their darkness shanks on the mission from Roger protects the fruit him being a celestial dragon a god already can't eat a fruit shanks in the final panel said now we should go get the one piece shanks and his crew are after Luffy(nika) now for the fruit before he turns the world upside down and destroys the balance for the higher ups that run the world shanks mother is IMU he will be the final boss after knocking out Blackbeard and putting him to sleep and shanks protecting the balance and the higher ups will turn on his crew and body em all and show his true power and Luffy(nika) will give him his final punch a one piece and it's call the drum of liberation signing the whole world that the are liberated this punch killing him and shanks and destroy the whole red line forming the all blue and bringing every one together in one piece where Luffy(nika) scar x marks the spot nika is the one piece every episode is the punch and foreshadowing of Luffy(nika) destroying the red line bring the world together every punch sounds like a drum it will also lower the water levels showing the old ancient citys every one will party coming together and the nika fruit will be the new energy to power the old technology and old world
After 2+ decades, you'd think oda would come up with something more interesting than dreams as the origin of devil fruit. Kinda underwhelming.

Cat boy makes no sense to me why he was brought back… He lost to Luffy back before Luffy even knew what Haki was. Now he's back and is a threat even though Luffy has far surpassed his own power from back then.
