Oda loves cutting away right where the hype is. He won't cut back until he gets you at least semi-engaged in a separate fight or something else going. He always like to make you feel like you know what's going to happen then pull the rug underneath you at that moment. Oda's such a troll. 🤣I'm so used to it now that when I read week to week, I'm already with the mindset thinking are we cutting away or are we going to get more next chapter?

From what I understand, Conqueror's does more than just knock others out, but is also applied like a second layer to Armament. Armament harms physical. Conqueror's seems to harm spirit/soul/willpower.

You remember those red rubber balls kids play with in elementary school? Now imagine the tiny rubber balls used to play HandBall, same rubber material however for the big red ones, it’s a thin sheet of rubber whereas the smaller one uses thicker rubber. The bigger one bounces high because of the weightlessness of air along with the bounciness of rubber. The smaller ball bounces just as high but it’s all due to the properties of the rubber. There is a video of someone loading a wheel for a 16-wheeler truck onto a flatbed, the guy bounces the wheel until it manages to go higher than the bed of the truck and moves it over to load it. Those wheels are thick and heavy which brings me to the point of this comment, at his default form, Luffy is like the big red rubber ball, in Gear 4 he hardens his skin and instead of inflating his bones which he does in Gear 3, he inflates his muscles/skin making it denser and thicker. Goes from a rubber ball to a wheel for a dump truck and trust me, you would rather get hit in the face with a rubber ball than a dump truck wheel going at Mach 3 speed
