In this episode Caroline and Liz explain what Lucy Letby said when questioned by the prosecution about three of the alleged victims in the case – Baby I, Baby J and Baby K.
They discuss how she was accused of getting a “thrill” out of watching the grieving parents of Baby I bathe their daughter after she died and how she allegedly took the opportunity to try to kill when staff were busy with an emergency.
Lucy Letby is accused of the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of ten others, while she was working on the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital. She denies all charges.
