The Indianapolis Colts have been a team chasing after a ghost for the past few seasons. With Andrew Luck’s retirement, a gaping hole had been opened at what was once thought to be a secure position. It was feared at the time, but his departure (and the Colts attempts at replacing Luck) cursed their franchise: They were a team that was built for Andrew Luck but lacked Andrew Luck.
Now, after several years of trying to patch up the quarterback position, Indianapolis is trapped on a hamster wheel of their own construction. Desperately attempting to replace Luck has resulted in the entire team falling to rot. Jim Irsay has grown highly impatient, and has resulted in a move that many question outright.

The next dynasty football team will be the one that is able to acquire great talent that meshes well together and will completely reject analytics. I’ve never heard someone say wow those analytical decisions were so good and it carried them to victory. But I’ve heard many times the analytics said to do X but Y was what they should’ve done, and then lost the game. Looking at you Baltimore for the last 3 years with Justin Tucker going for every 4th down inside of the 30 and then losing by 2 points.

Andrew and Matt Ryan definitely deserve way better. Why Matt Ryan? The dude is actually a really good QB (look at his stats) but the issue is is that he will be tied to 28-3 or 33-0. He doesn't have good players around him and bad coaching but he's the one to blame for both chokes yet it's Saturday's play calling that is god awful is a damning statement to how unlucky Matt is. And now that Foles got dunked on and no one helped him shows a huge issue in the locker room and how inept Irsay is if it wasn't apparent. Sell the team Irsay
