  1. Interesting, thanks for the video. Gathering is something I do nonstop, was wondering how this worked. Pulled alot of gems today with my luck potatoes, but fae iron info was good.

  2. Thanks for the video! However, what are your sources that say for 1400 is 14% and not 1.4%? Also, where are you getting the numbers/break points on fae or voidmetal for example? I only ask because I’d like to see a table with boulders for example as to see what luck is optimal when farming for adderstones.

  3. Hey I just stumbeled over this today but the lower your Health you is the lower the fall damage will be you recieve. I jumped down the same ledge over and over again and in the beginning with ~6000 hp I got 300 dmg evrery time. When I came down to 600 hp I only got 30 dmg and when I was below 60 I just got single digit dmg and in the end I had 1 hp left and couldn't kill my self because I did not get more damage.

  4. I have heard from multiple sources that 1000 Luck translates to 1% Luck. From my own experience using buff food with up to 2000 Luck, it really doesn't seem like a 20% difference. Where do you get the information from that 1000 Luck = 10%?

  5. At nwdb the droplist is shared to ALL elite mobs/bosses. The 1st 4-5 are the actual drops dropped only by the specific mob and then a second list that is shared between all mobs (purples-blues). Drops with area restrictions are dropped at that area and only if you have the watermark for them. Tested for hours after hours. Only exception is legendary materials.

  6. Ohh! Follow up video please! How does this effect watermarking? Do I get the same amount of drops if I have 12% luck and 35% luck, just that I get "more good items" with more luck?

  7. So a bit of confusion on the section of the video with the units. One thing I hate is that potions and trophies talk in terms of UNITS like oh get 1000 luck. But on gear it just says oh X percent. At one point you said 1% luck is = to 100 points…is that correct? I thought 1000 points = 1%? Thanks for the video.

  8. Acoording to the video, with increased luck the drop chance is shifted from the lowest tier drops to the highest tier drops and the chance of middle tier drops stays the same. Is that right?

  9. You need to farm watermarks for the 500-600 Gs to be Available, for example, if you have Not grinder water marks you would get a 500 drop, if you’ve been grinding it you will have a chance to get a 600 drop

  10. So, to have a chance to obtain legendary ring (f.e. Beggining), I have to get an Elite Forecastle Drift mission from faction quest giver, complete it and then just go and farm Forecastle Drift untill it drops?

  11. To my understanding the 1% luck from gear was an actual 1% increase. so for the loot tables that use 100 000 then it would be 1 000 per 1% meaning the armor and tool was far more important than the flat luck from trophy and buff foods while some loot tables use for example 50 000 which would effectively double the effectiveness from food and trophies.

  12. Really great info, but your math is really wrong in the last part of the video.

    On a scale of 100,000… 1700 is not 17% luck, it's 1.7%. 101,450 is not 14.5% that would be 114,500.

So when wearing Mining luck gear, a piece of gear with 4% pushes your luck cap to 104,000, not 140,000.

    Info good. Math bad.
