I think you're missing the actual joke. Capitalism has traditionally been looked down on because it can create a class of people that only care about money, to the extent, of abusing the people that make them the money. Capitalism, itself, is a good thing. When capitalism starts to hurt the working class, it because a bad thing. Just because Disney is involved with a film, doesn't mean it's sending out a political message. Lighten up. Lay off the coffee or cocaine…. Or both. Relax and just watch a movie. I think that messaging will get the film MORE income. Many people are suffering from capitalism, and they are talking about it in social media everywhere!
Indiana Jones will be an absolute flop, this franchise appeals to a older audience 35+ who grew up with these types of historical action movies, Tomb Raider 2018 for instance only made $274 million world wide, Nostalgic made movies for gamers or action movie sequels do not have the same appeal to younger audiences.
Had MachineGames released there up coming Indiana Jones Game in 2022 or early 2023 – This might have helped the movie appeal with younger gamers, but sadly the game is still in development.
Disney know this type of movie no longer has the appeal that it used to, or they would have run with new National Treasure movies by now, case in point National Treasure Tv series barley has a following.
And then we have to ask why Fleebag Waller Bridge left Disney for Amazon extremely fast after filming IJ5 ? Because when IJ5 flops at the box office, the franchise will be sold off to Amazon ….

It's all about that idiotic perception of a zero sum economics, which can be clearly observed as false by just looking at the economy throughout History, as we don't have the same capital as Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Ancient China, etc. It's all far greater and more developed then it ever was, mostly gtown after 18th century, because of Capitalism, we have far less percentages of people in misery then in all human History.

Mangolds last two films were master pieces both above 8.0 on imdb. Most of his films in the 7's.
