Beautiful place, to bad it couldn't have been restored,loved the history, you always do such an excellent job narrating.
I and a couple of friends were in England doing the Coast-to-Coast hike when we came across this, coming from Patterdale to Shap; what a really cool surprise, especially hearing of the stories behind this structure/ruin. I hope to be able to visit this when I'm back in the U.K. this coming summer!
That was absolutely beautiful, truly wonderful combination of landscaping and natural retaking intermingled amongst idealic ruins, great preservation effort and a great video too!

I worked around the castle clearing the trees for the new gardens etc we did all lowther forest work around that area great vid thanks.
