Slumdog Millionaire isn't exactly an Indian film… Indian Audience mostly ask for commercial thrillers all the time. Most Indians are always hungry for it.
Slumdog millionaire wasn't anything like that and bound to get criticised in most of unexpected ways.
The Film was really good irrespectively even as an Indian. Portrayals will be portrayals and it's upto people who take it differently.
