  1. β€œThere's only one way to succeed in this business. Step on those guys. Gouge their eyes out. Trample on them. Kick them in the balls. You'll be a smash.” -Mayer! ➑️➑️➑️ watch this video next: β€œHollywood Fixers: Silent thugs who buries Hollywood’s biggest Scandals!”

  2. I love the contwnt of your videos but I really dislike it when you use this particular song as background music. The vocal loop is too distracting from your narration. Sometimes I have to rewind and relisten bc I'm focusing more on thd music than the narration. I know you use music composed by your brother and this comment is not meant to shade him in any way. I just mean it as very gentle constructive criticism. I don't find the same problem with other songs you've used by him. If you're going to use it, maybe have the volume lower? But ultimately I would recommend not using the song at all, honestly.

  3. Most of the mistreatment and suffering were endured by women.. It has always been women who are mistreated for centuries 😒.. Woman were mistreated by their husbands and it was acceptable.. Just imagine all the women who were sa'd and abused and the perpetrator went unpunished and you had to look at them and deal with them every day..

  4. Mayer created the Hollywood star as we know it today. Falling in love with a pretty face was created and PUSHED at that time. The everyday man or woman (at that time) could not be blamed for that. They were new witnesses to the invention of the Hollywood machine. And the people in Hollywood had no idea that the wrath of Mayer would destroy them.

  5. Being popular, rich and/or famous does not mean someone is a good person! Mayer obviously had a personality disorder: Narcissist, psychopath or sociopath. There was no cure for it then and still no cure for it now. Its best we all learn about these disorders and steer clear from these monsters!

  6. Thank you Karine! You always shed SO MUCH light on the industry! From past to present Hollywood has always been a beast and unfortunately it continues to devour people both willingly and unwilling.
The crazy $ex parties, corruption, misogyny, and evil deeds have always been there and behind the scenes probably always will be. But I'm here for them all getting their day of exposure even if it is one by one. It's just unfortunate for the victims that suffered I the past and never got justice 😒😒😒❀

  7. Mayer had no idea when he was born so he picked the 4th of July. He was very patriotic. When the Depression hit MGM the hardest, Tyrone Power had a talk with Mayer about getting a pay raise.

Mayer cried, he went on about the tough times, that we all fortunate just to have work. Power was later asked how did the meeting go with Mayer, Power responded with, "I didn't get the raise but I think I found a father".

Mayer, like Alfred Hitchcock has had many things said about them, yet the respect for them was so great, upon their deaths, the ill will seemed to have faded away and just the appreciation remained. If Katharine Hepburn held Mayer in good stead… he had to have something going for him.
