Invincible is an Image Comics Universe series named for its superhero, “Invincible” (“Mark Grayson”). Created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker, Invincible first appeared in Tech Jacket #1 (October 2002), before graduating to his own self-titled regular series in 2003, as the premier title in Image’s then-new superhero line.
Invincible is the teenaged son of Omni-Man, an extraterrestrial superhero of the Viltrumite race. Invincible inherited his father’s superhuman strength and ability to fly and he has sworn to protect the Earth. He has had trouble adjusting to his newfound powers and coping with the reality of his origins.

It's not ego or pride. It's morality and responsibility.
The writers came out and actually said they were surprised with the backlash to her character in season one. She was never meant to be disliked. I think they were aiming for her intelligence and the desire to be trusted. It came off wrong and the writers are going to give us a better depicted version of what they originally had intended.

Anyone else disappointed and tired with Universes/timelines? It already feels like the show is done. I’m still enjoying the show but it has already shifted from Story to “Content”
This isn't much of a spoiler but the thing with marks strength is that viltrumites are born to be warriors like Nolan explained in season one. They are trained to fight without emotions. The reason mark has explosions of strength is because he uses his emotions in his fights. Also probably because he's half viltrumite it's easier to feel those feelings.

Amber was kind of a blank slate, and Kirkman said how they wrote her the last couple episode was a mistake by them, so how she is acting in this is what Kirkman and the writing team wanted to portray post Episode 5 of S1. As a comic fan i love having her fleshed out more this way rather than the end of S1!
I appreciate how short and succinct your intros are guys. There's a lot of reactors who spend 20 minutes discussing after every episode, then say the same stuff all over again in their 15 minute intro

Never read the comics but from what I heard Amber was Amber in name only her comic counterpart was completely different
s2 Amber is like how she was in the comics. S1 tried to focus on the wrong details of the side characters. William was supposed to figure out he was gay not always be gay. He was dating Atom Eve and that's why there was additional Gap between the two most obvious will get married characters. Felt they really didn't like the first volume of invincible and want to move to the later stuff immediately. I feel after how s1 was received realized they can slow down and take the story on the correct path. no reason invincible shouldn't be at least six seasons.

That was two different things happening when the Shapesmith was talking. He came to Earth with the humans Mark saved in season 1. Meanwhile, the actual human was left behind and taken over by a Sequid, the little squid like things on Mars. The Martians said that if a Sequid got control of a human, it would be bad for everyone involded. The Sequids have won on Mars and seem to have taken over and left the planet on a ship.
Invincible doesn't have laser vision
Superman is generally only called in when major/end of world problems arise.
20:07 There's your answer about getting an education when you're a super hero. You guys brought up Spider Man and how it doesn't make sense to care about school, completely ignoring the famous words of Uncle Ben. This is what happens you have too much power and not enough responsibility. Superheroes may not need to care about getting a degree to get a job, but nothing is EVER wrong with gaining knowledge and experience.

I agree the Amber thing was weird. She knew he was a superhero and still acted like a total biotch. Then suddenly this season she’s like it’s okay I know you need to go save people. Like makes no sense.
