This is one crazy mindf–k of a show! You have to watch all six seasons to figure out what the f–k is going on here!
The worst part about LOST is you have to watch all 6 seasons at least 3 times to really catch everything. Most people won't commit that much time to a TV show, no matter how good it is/was.

I wasn't interested in watching it at first but, my family was always watching it and I'd see some and ask questions and after 3 seasons of that my sister refused to answer any more of my questions and made me watch it myself..

Being spoiled the finale, in words, is nothing compared to watching the show through. It's super intricate. So that much info can't really get summed up. Also, people can have very different opinions about the end. And you could have gotten incorrect info.
So I wouldn't worry about whatever you were spoiled with. Just keep an open mind and you'll do great.

As far as the "ending spoilers" are concerned. Don't sweat it. Many people back then, and even now, misinterpret the ending. What you heard may very well be incorrect. We'll deal with the ending when we get there. In the meantime, just enjoy the characters and their awesome journey.

If someone spoiled "the ending" in one sentence to you. It's highly likely that that spoiler is not really the ending. Because you can't really explain the ending of LOST in a single sentence and not even in a few short sentences, especially to a person who has only seen 1,5 seasons. If someone made you sit down and explained the ending in at least 10-15 minutes, then it's a different story and what they told you could probably be the real ending. I'm saying this because there's a misunderstood or misinterpreted supposed ending to LOST, that many people believed, which circled around after the show ended, which can be told in one sentence but it's not true at all. I don't know which category you are in but I hope it's the wrong one, so you can enjoy the show without thinking the "fake" ending and keep your inner suspense.
