  1. you should include the ova too because the ova is the incident happen between episode 16 and 17 (during the time when Rudy meet his father and the same time Eris go for goblin slayer and ancounter some new people, because all the new member we saw of this particular ova are very important in future seasons)

  2. I like rudeus but he's definitely one of those characters that you shouldn't like in the beginning but see them grow for the better.

Another example would be Subaru from Re:zero, throughout a majority of season 1 he believes he's intitled to Emilia's love, he constantly did good things in the hopes that he would get what he "deserves", he's entitled, rude to those he believes to be threat to the relationship he's aiming for, but he's also self loathing.

Rudeus straight up just wants to bang underage girls as a 35-40 year old dude in a 12 year old body, even if it's socially acceptable in that world and based off real life history it's creepy, and I'm sure it was made with that purpose in mind whenever he has those kinds of interactions

  3. 22:38 so just to add ….The letter Eris left was a bit ambiguous in its wording to the point that Rudeous (and all of his lack of self worth from his previous life) took it as she was leaving him because he was not good enough for her when in reality it was Eris who felt inferior and was leaving to train with Ghislaine and become worth of him.

    Spoiler:

This misunderstanding leaves Rudeus impotent and full of self loathing for a long time….and there is a reoccuring theme of misunderstanding mixed with inferiority complex between Eris and Rudeus as their relationship devlops in the future.

  4. I love how intricate this show is. This video explains the overall story but there are a tremendous amount of details, secrets and world knowledge that make this show so much better.

  5. To bad anime/manga like this never really get more than just one, or two seasons when pokemon, dragon ball, sao, a certain, and so many others are lackluster, and repetitive shows that never seem to end. Even after to literally evoked God, and killed/caught it. When there is nothing passed the ultimate power of the laws of existence. What else is there for the series to do? Just come to an end. Roll credits. Thank everyone for their support for so many years. Don't parade it's corpse around after botox injections. It ruins the memory of it.

We need creative shows like this that had more to it than "punch him really hard.", or "through the powers of friendship we can kill god." There is a vacuum when shows end, and instead of just keep going. End it, and present more things to fill that void. Make things better. Have better story writing, have better animation sequencing. Do something. Just don't parade the dead around.

Manga like this one is pretty well written, story progression is strong, and lots of character growth. Why they didn't want to make the rest. That is beyond me.
