  23. Wild fire occurs all over the world . Nothing new . Problem in LA was created by humans . Firstly the houses are made of timber ( wood ) unlike cement concrete in our part of the world . If you go through pictures one can see all cement concrete structures have with stood fire . Secondly few years back People of LA objected to trimming and cutting of trees . Forest cover hence increased further and people living in huge log houses had to bear the brunt of the fire . Either they construct houses which are fire resistant like cement concrete or some other or decrease the forest cover . If Japan can construct earthquake resistant buildings why can’t America construct fire resistant homes and buildings. One cannot blame climate change for every wild fire . These fires have been occurring since eons . Forest fire is also a nature’s way of getting rid of dried foliage and the burnt foliage acts as a fertiliser to the ground .
