I just rode a Waymo from Venice to Santa Monica, it was great! Super clean car, smooth ride, no mindless chatter, no creepy male driver acting like a creep, felt very safe!

Anything that has remote access can be accessed remotely. There is no amount of security or firewalls that can block anybody from access..

I take waymos in LA all the time. Usually if there’s an issue customer service can take remote control of the vehicle but it looks like there was some sort of glitch happening. The support staff was probably trying to tell him to open the app and press “pull over” but of course he had to get his viral content in by complaining instead of direction following. Also: waymos in LA don’t currently go to LAX or Burbank so I’m not sure where he was trying to catch his flight but I don’t think the Waymo could take him there anyway. Last thing: if you miss your flight every airline but frontier will rebook you on another flight for free.
You know driverless automated cars are bad. Now imagine driverless automated buses!!! Gosh we are doomed 🤦♂️🤦♂️
