If Tylee had such a bad case of pancreatitis as she described, she would not be able to eat without pain, and vomiting frequently. As I recall, she was a plus sized young girl and did not appear gaunt or malnourished. If she was that sick, she also would have had a jejunostomy feeding tube surgically implanted to bypass the duodenum where the pancreatic ducks are located. That whole medical story sounds exaggerated to me. The traveling all over the spirit world is about as plausible as being able to change your gender.
