  1. Well, at least "Obscure LotR Facts Guy" isn't a racist and he's going to help all non-fair skinned people in need with his merchandise.

  2. Normally, I ignore anything actors or actresses (is that still an acceptable term to use) say when they are outside of the role that they are supposed to be playing. If they change their profession, as did Ronald Reagan, I will once again start listening to them. However, this four has not changed their profession, so they can voice their opinion, and I have the right to ignore them. The ears are not a good touch either. The Moros of the Philippines collect severed ears.

  3. I wept tears of joy when I saw these white saviors come charging in to FINALLY give "POC" permission to be fans of Tolkien. It was so heroic of them to erase all the "POC" who were fully welcome fans before this moment, and let them know that NOW they are invited to the fandom. Not before.

On a more serious note anyone who has time should check out Tucker Carlson's interview of Mattias Desmet. Even if you don't like Carlson it's well worth watching because Desmet is an expert in the study of "mass formation psychosis" (referring to "the masses"). If you've ever wondered WHY the masses (and people like these beloved actors) blindly follow these insane narratives, Desmet breaks it down and it's fascinating. He also offers hope, because the numbers say that even if only 5% of people continue to speak out publicly against the madness, it will prevent the power-hungry elites from fully achieving their goals.

  4. I wonder how much they paid these washed up actors to make these statements. I dare say, if similar amounts of money was spent in the hiring of competent writers, their show would have been better. Actors are modern day court jesters and jokers. Always remember that when they try speaking seriously about any social or political matters.

  5. Some people treat these actors as if they embody the characters they acted out 20 years ago to this day. Problem is that Elijah Wood is not Frodo, he just played him memorably once in his life, same for the others. Some of them were and remain Tolkien fans to this day but plenty of them definitely don't

  6. It always makes me laugh when they say everyone is welcome when all races and creed have enjoyed the lord of the rings and nobody has been complaining. What i would love to do is take Black panther Wakanda and make some of them white africans ..People would lose their mind and say it doesnt make sense well neither does a black Dwarf or elf or multi racial Hobbits( Did the Harfoots do a genocidal war on themselves cause they end up all white in The Lord of the Rings) Why they just didnt do their own fantasy world is beyond me, wold of saved them 450 million

  7. They are getting old and losing relevance, so they are trying to attract attention by becoming "social justice" warriors. Sadly, they haven't found a way to age gracefully.

  8. Yawn, simply pathetic, but I never thought particularly highly about those guys. And I disagree that PJ's Sam was great, he was way more aggressive, way more violent towards Gollum than he should have (and don't even get me started on the whole lembas plot, "Sam, go home" and Sam and lembas landing at the same spot on that bloody long staircase, that was almost RoP level of cringe).

  9. None of the original LOTR actors were complaining about "lack of diversity" when they were filming for three straight years, OR after filming, when they were collecting all them Academy Awards, boi! Woo! 🧝‍♂🧝‍♀🧙‍♂ …. …. 🙄 😒🤦‍♀

  10. You are all welcome here. We'll I guess sauron will be welcomed in Minas Tirith if the decide to remake Lord of The Rings. This could actually be true since amazon own the rights to the franchise. Anyway i guess we need an end to the Galadriel and Sauron lovestory.

  11. It used to be the case, back in history- that actors used to have their pay thrown at them onto stages by the audiences…
Maybe we should go back to doing that?!!

  12. Drama, or acting is related to art and I have great respect for the arts. Twats like these people are the village idiots of all the ages. See? That impulse for the half rotten cabbage, I know you felt it, don't deny it. The good thing about Stalin, yes you heard me dammit: the good thing about Stalin was he'd not put up with this nonsense!

  13. The only time I've heard of people not being welcome in a franchise was when white people were told to stay away from Wakanda Forever.
Proper casting does not mean fans of all shapes, sizes, and colors aren't welcome.

  14. In some ways I really wish I hadn't seen the photo of these three actors. I prefer to have them as hobbits in my memory, rather than three old men weighing in for Amazon because they were paid to do so. The ears on the shirt also just seem kind of creepy and disembodied. Everyone is reduced to ear colour in Rings of Power land now. I wish they'd just stop it.
