Without the ring, my first time fighting him only took 24ish minutes. No challenge. He light weight. Just takes longer than id care to spend again on one boss
I think I had 140 played hours on ffxii It’s been a long time , but remember Yiazmat took me a good 6 hours with a fully stacked all maxed level team and back up team. Very underrated game. It had so many playable hours in terms of side quests
Angra Mainyu in FFX-2, was supposed to take hours in order to beat. I took it down to at least 30 minutes by having Rikku and Paine be Dark Knights and Yuna a White Mage.
One time in FFVIII, I had my whole party defeated but Angel kept reviving Rinoa and she was berserked in Sorceress mode so I couldn't control her. So I technically stopped playing but the game played itself for a long time.
i told my at the time 10 year old son about the adamantoise he did it in like 10-15 minutes and then did it several times just because i did not believe it
I didn't use any guides or anything, but from memory, I think adamantoise in ffxv took about 20 mins to beat? I never understood why they said that on Conan. I think I was at about 70ish hours of gameplay for the whole game when I did it, so I thought maybe it was a weird mistranslation or something.
I didn't even try Adamantoise. The longest boss fight I sat through was Trema in the bottom of Via Infinito in FFX-2. It took forever, and it took quite a few deaths to get there. It's the only game I've ever gotten 100% on.
Just use cheats and you can beat it in 10sec
i have both defeat this boss without and with Ring of Lucii. Took me hours without the ring

Honestly I think the boss that took me the longest was sephiroth in ff7 remake
My first adamantois kill took me hours cause i wanted to see if i could kill it with only the ring. You can and boy does it look funny.
Ff15 is totally gay.

I one shot him with the ring of luci
and i thought FF11 Odin boss was annoying (btw after hours, everyone wiped anyways) that was like 11+ years ago :p
Final Fantasy 12 is my favorite I’m just glad I never encountered the boss fight.

Minerva from Crisis Core Final fantasy 7
Final Fantasy Crisis Core… I spent many hours trying to beat Minerva but never succeeded
Im just starting ffxii and now I know I'll have to fight that Yiazmat for hours? Any adv?
For me it was odin on ff online as he only appears at 3 am and in a large Forest and if you die you have to wait another week
You can kill it with the ring. I used the black hole or whatever it is a couple times on it and was able to kill it
Yiazmat took me 13hours.

I suck at FF so much that I consider Orpheus from FF13 to take the longest
