London Is Preparing For The Coronation of King Charles III

It is almost coronation time in London, and preparations are underway for the 6th May and the new King being CROWNED. Exciting times! Today I’ll pop along to show you Buckingham Palace and what’s going on, chat a bit about the plans (which were right at the time of filming this!!!). Then walk over to Fortnum & Mason, the store that is a long standing affiliation with the store, to see what official products are available. Then I went to the Postal Museum to see the new King Charles stamps! Wow!

Fantastic Vlog… Flying back home for the coronation and this has been so helpful as to planning where and what time I'm gonna get up west and where to stand because I wasnt allowed on the Mall during the jubilee because we got there too late and they wouldn't let us through. Thanks for the info.

  12. Your nieces are absolutely adorable 😍🥰. The Postal Museum seemed so much fun. London is getting all spiffy for the Coronation, so exciting. I actually saw some Coronation tea tins in Marshall's , which is a discount clothing store here in the States a few weeks ago. Marshall's is under the same Corp umbrella as TJMaxx and TKMaxx.

    There's a store here in the L.A. area, in Santa Monica to be exact called the Ye Ole King's Head ( it's next door to a restaurant by the same name. Both were started by a Brit expat in the 70s and 80s, the store has many items that comes from.the UK.
    I'm sure it has its fair of Coronation memorabilia. The restaurant opened its doors to Expats and locals alike to watch the late Queen's memorial service, snd I'm sure it will do the same for the Coronation.

  13. I found my neck craning to see Buckingham Palace. The Postal Museum was fun. Fortnum & Mason, oh, I think I would purchase the honey package! A wonderful windy tour.

  14. I really enjoyed your tours. Loved the Fortnum and Mason look at the coronation objects. I am not quite sure why flamingos, perhaps is a reference to a Commonwealth country? I was surprised at how colorful the packaging is. But then I was surprised at how colorful the Coronation invitation is. So unlike my impression of King Charles. New era for sure. Thank you for your fortitude in crowded areas! Your nieces are precious! Very interesting interactive display at the Postal Service. Very much looking forward to next Friday.

  37. Lovely video as always! I'm just back from London and saw much of what you shared, makes me wonder if I had just been in one spot at a different time I would have run across you filming. 😉

    Of note, the crowns at the top of the flag masts on the Mall have been there for awhile, at least since the Queen's funeral, as I was there for that as well and took photos of the masts when I noticed them. Now I'm curious as to when they were first installed…

  38. Lovely to see you and your nieces Hannah. London is a cool place with lots of culture and history. I'm not much of a monarchist myself, although I do really like Kate. I feel she has a lot of dignity and is very down to earth and can still remain classy. Have fun. Michael.

  41. I loved this Vlog! I love Fortnum & Mason ❤. Sadly I tried to order the coronation mug and it does not give me the option to purchase. I guess since I live State side. But I am getting the Darjeeling tea and biscuits! I’ll be drinking it along with the biscuits on Coronation day!
