  2. Your answer to the question about reparations is a bit surprising, given your previous statements about wanting a fair distribution of resources. Framing reparations as “punishment” I think is a clever manipulation by those staunchly against the idea, because a punishment is certainly unfair to people who did nothing wrong. I think what reparations is really (or should really be) about is fair re-distribution of resources. If one group of people has historically been “have nots” then to ever get to a “fair” state there must be some leveling of the playing field. Overhauling current systems completely to achieve that level fairness could be one way. If that sounds too hard/complicated/unnecessary, then a one-time re-distribution, such as reparations, could be an answer.

  3. I hope Y.T, in their almighty, unfathomable wisdom does not demonetize this video because of what you said about reparations. I think you explained it really well about bearing responsibility and by calling it political rhetoric and a guilt trip, you hit the nail on the head. The solution you did offer, imo was sounded fair as well. "A decent minimum". Although I am sure some economics major could tell us any minimum wage is also a bad idea, I think It does befall upon us as members of any modern, wealthy society to make sure all its members enjoy at least a minimum that enables them to grow and build a future for their offspring without being held back by the negative spiral that comes with living below minimum. But we should also recognize a (higher) minimum wage is not the end all be all of solutions, because the problem goes much deeper than mere financial solvency.
Also great Risk vid. Blue did well all things considered, better than the rest at least.

  4. Whenever someone brings up reparations to me (as a random US citizen) I just tell them to send their angry letter to the British Slave Empire that took all the profits up until the American Revolution. The only slave money in the USA was taken in by the big slaver plantations in the South between 1783 and 1861, and then they spent all that money fighting and losing the US Civil War. So, there is no slave money in the USA to 'give back', however the British royal family are still among the wealthiest people on Earth.

  5. 1 hour in. Well said Pete man. Everyone deserves to live in the most equality society possible. It is dumb to give bonuses to people simply because they have a certain skin color or are a certain gender. I may be a liberal atheist, but I despise SJWs.

  6. I might not like Australia in world dom, but I think with 2 caps it can be really really strong. shows the gap between the two of us because i wouldn't have just locked him all game. i would have probably taken a chance at emptying him and having a +9 all game. and i probably would have fed myself to someone else.
