It’s an exhausting episode this week! The Hatton Lock Flight on the Grand Union Canal has 21 double locks, which is the most double locks we’ve ever done in one day!
Luckily we have some volunteer lock-keepers come to help us 😊 It is still really hard work but significantly easier than it would have been alone, it is such a relief when you spot those red life jackets on a lock landing!
The skipper does crash into a tree along the way and emergency provisions are required from the local shop but we make it to the bottom of the flight with just enough energy to go to the pub for dinner!
