  2. Despite all the push back and many naysayers, you can absolutely live comfortably in Thailand on between $1,000-$1500 USD per month. This video is just another data point confirming that fact. Oh and by the way, Samui also happens to be expensive by Thailand standards – so there's that.

  3. The longer you live out here the easier it gets I spent a lot less I own my own scooter make my own breakfast my rent is the same 9k my health insurance is $600 it's gone down 10%😁 I live on my own just see my girlfriend at weekends on the whole I ave around 1k so it's more than easy to do if you stay out of the bars and keep out of the fancy restaurants and lady entertainment 😁👍🏼

  4. Sure, meals and rent is cheaper. Health care is a huge cost, not just a monthly insurance premium. Can’t live on $1k/mo if you get in moto accident, want to travel back to homeland, have a computer, photography equipment, etc.

  5. Koh Sumui 🙄🙄its no better than anywhere else in Thailand
what ya think are pristine waters are full of garbage and rubbish floating past
i work in ocean tourism in Australia and was disgusted by the waterways in Thailand
took a kayak about 200 meters offshore for a paddle spent the next hr picking out rubbish with my paddle
Had to remind myself that i was on holiday not there to solve Thailand's garbage problem
By time got back to beach had Huge pile of plastic rubbish on Kayak .. no bins on or near beach to put it
Thailand was a Huge disappointment , only thing good about Thailand was the food and shopping !

  6. Another great Vid Chris.
I know you've talked about visas before, but it'd be great to go on an actual (video)Visa Run, step by step, with you or Adam. The varients are still a bit confusing to me.
    Cheers!

  7. I'm currently on Koh Tao,1st time in Thailand..
I met Mike during my 1st breakfast on Koh Samui,a few weeks ago.
I was naturally excitable ,whist ppl watching..
What I noticed about Mike was his huge grin ,which got me talking to him..
Directed me on how to purchase a SIM card..
You just can't fake that type of happiness..
    Well done ,good luck.

  8. Thai tips! :You should buy a 1 year new sim with internet plan from Shoppy or Lazada (seach :ซิมเน็ตเทพ ) cost aroud 1200-. For 1 year 4G+ internet running at 1+ Mbps. (realspeed) almost as fast as typical home Wifi. Just registered it under your name (Normal process can be done online too) at AIS,TRUE,DTAC counter you can find anywhere and you're good to go

  9. Great informative video!

I do wonder about visa stuff though and how future save is a digital nomad income that only reliefs on managing a facebook website and a youtube channel? People leave and get bored of certain content and ive seen a trend of people move away from facebook alltogether.
