Congratulations Thom, I've recommended "Trains Are Awesome" to members in my three railroad clubs. Well researched and enjoyably filmed and narrated, your videos usually rank tops in their subjects.
You would come back to West Coast I recommend San Francisco mini I got the best Transit agency up there Los Angeles we have all different Transit agency's beside LA Metro one of them is foothill Transit you got the right if you ever came back to Los Angeles suggest to Torrance Transit reasons I am saying this I have a old bus of theirs I used to own 1964 gm new look 35 ft Transit bus this I was willing to donate back to the city of Torrance in 2010 for the city centennial birthday
Trains are Awesome & Thom is Handsome! Das ist Alles was zΓ€hlt. ππ Congrats Thom! Please visit the Bay Area for filming some action on the scenic Niles Canyon Route through Altamont Corridor Express & Niles Canyon Heritage Railway!
Congratulations Thom! Very glad I found your Videos. Hope you like living in Chicago, I lived there for 55 years till I retired in 2020. I now live in Decatur Mi, which is off of Exit 56 on I94 and can hear the "Michigan Service" & "Blue Water" pass bu my house everyday. Due to timing though I take the Pere Marquette in to Chicago from Bangor when I feel like taking Amtrak.
Also, I met my Wife on the old "International" and took several trips on it before she moved to Chicago. It was stopped because of the 2+ hour delays caused by Customs & the D.E.A. at Port Huron as the route became a Drug Smuggling pipeline between Chicago and Toronto.
Thanks everyone for watching! Missed it? Had something to ask but forgot? Ask me here:
