Missed the live because we were at universal Hollywood for our anniversary! River adventure was closed for refurbishment, but today when we are flying home, it’s open😆
You can see over them (the structures at Epcot for the fireworks) and around them, yes. But they are BIG AND UGLY. The barges coming out at night is just a much better method. Glad they are returning to that. Think if you went to the Grand Canyon and saw things like that. "you can see around them…" but it's still obnoxious!

Just watching this – my Mom used to make feeding time with me a special moment for my older sister by always reading her a book while I was being fed. She'd let her pick out a book and then cuddle up with her while she fed me. My sister was also very excited about having a baby sister so my Mom always made her feel included like it was her baby too.
I’ve ridden Tron in Shanghai and I absolutely loved it! So much so that I bought the physical ride photo as I looked so thrilled in it 😂 I feel like it makes quite a significant difference riding at night as the lights in the canopy are really cool.
How about personalized bath towels for Jackson & the new baby.
Maybe a build bear for each boy, one that says little brother and one that says big brother…

Tell Jackson his little brother wants to bring him a gift when he arrives and then have Jackson talk to mommy's tummy & tell his brother what he wants.
All my kids got a stuffed plushy from their siblings. They sleep with them every night. It's very special coming from big bro or sis. We have a build a bear bunny for my youngest that my older daughter built for her lil sis. She barely filled it so it is floppy (his name is floppy) and she made the wish for bb and kissed the heart. Very special. ❤

You should get Jackson a type of craft kit or STEM activity that can last for longer periods of time or be broken up into multiple periods of play. Something that he can focus on with independence. So, when you’re taking care of the baby, he’s not noticing that the baby might be getting more attention in a given moment. Something new that he doesn’t have or hasn’t yet experienced, that is special to him, but can keep him busy developing skills while mom and dad navigate this new normal.
As a parent, I get nervous on rides where I can’t reach out towards my kid
One helpful tip I've heard is telling the baby "Okay Toenail, I need to spend some time with Jackson now." Toenail obviously won't understand/care, but it shows Jackson that your time with each kid is equally important, and sometimes he will get immediate attention, and other times he will need to wait because Baby's needs can be more immediate.
I would do matching Brothers/"Big Buddy/Little Buddy" art for both of their rooms.

We did a gift from our 1st to our 2nd at their birth. It was just a special little stuffed animal. We never did a gift to the 1st kid. They really didn’t need anything else.
