Live on ProboxTV Mohamed Soumaoro vs Angel Vazquez

The Future Stars of Boxing will be on full display as ProBoxTV will return with “Wednesday Night Boxing” on Wednesday, March 22nd, from The White Sands Events Center in Plant City, Florida, as veteran super featherweight Jorge Lara (29-2-2, 21 KOs) of Guadalajara, Mexico, will look to re-ignite his career when he faces Aram Avagyan (10-1-2, 4 KOs) of Yerevan, Armenia in a ten-round main event with the first bell at 8 PM EST AD-FREE on ProBoxTV.com, and also available with ads on ProBoxTV’s Facebook and YouTube pages. If you aren’t already a subscriber, make sure you sign up for $1.99/month to watch this and all our previous events, as well as our premium original content.

Lara is returning to the ring after a two-year layoff and has a renewed passion for the sport. Like the old saying goes, ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder,’ Lara’s time away from the sport grew his passion toward the sport that has defined his life as Lara is more focused than ever to make a run for a world title. Known as an explosive puncher in the lower weight classes, Lara is a fighter, who if you blink you might miss the end of his fight, as he is just that powerful.

Avagyan, who is nicknamed, “Warrior”, will need to live up to that moniker to be victorious on March 22nd, as he will be fighting a man with double the professional experience as himself. Avagyan’s most notable performance of recent memory was when he went to Russia and got a draw with the undefeated Evgeny Smirnov in 2018. Avagyan has vowed to make a statement in this fight.

The co-feature will see an eight-round lightweight bout between Angel Vazquez (12-0, 6 KOs) of San Luis Rio Grande, Sonora, Mexico, taking on Mohamed Soumaoro (12-1, 5 KOs), of Montreal, Canada. What makes the bout so interesting is both fighters hold wins over undefeated prospects as Vazquez defeated Nicholas Sullivan last year in Southern California, and Soumaoro defeated undefeated prospect Jusiyah Shirley on a ProBox TV card. This fight is a bout no one who loves boxing should miss.

The undercard for the March 22nd card undercard will see the following bouts, as future star of boxing junior welterweight Omar Rosario will fight Zach Hill (3-3, 2 KOs) of Watertown, South Dakota in a six-round bout, welterweight Demontaze “Juicy” Duncan (8-0, 8 KOs) will fight in a six-round bout, and opening the card will be a fun ten-round heavyweight bout between Andrey Mangushev (6-0, 4 KOs), against an opponent who will be named at a later date.

  2. duncan has the tools he just doesnt have the skills, for one he smothers himself and doesnt parry anything. He has no power on the inside if he takes a step back he makes contact theirs no bobbing and weaving no side to side plus head movement and no angles he doesnt adjust his footing to get those body shots. Please dont take this as a diss take this as a learning chance. just watch from 52 min in he doesnt move his feet he doesnt move his head he stands their and waits to get hit when he could be circling this guy and jabbing that big head of his that things a target and a half!

  5. Mohamed was superior to Vasquez by far….Mohamed punished him😢😮…Vasquez was ridiculous, no creativity, no boxing skills, no fighting IQ, HE WAS JUST A HEAVY BAG for Mohamed. SHAME ON VASQUEZ to represent Mexico likes that…..

  7. I would have stopped that main event in the second round. He wasn't even in the same planet skill wise. It is never a good sign when one fighter complains behind hit in the back of the head when he is actually getting hit in the face. Please do not let Great Value Chocolatito near the ring again for his own good. That boy shouldn't have been in the at all.
