LIVE: Murderer of 14-Year-Old Marques Walker sentencing: A child murderer will be sentenced on television for the first time in England and Wales following a successful legal challenge by the media. Jermaine was stabbed as he lay defenceless on the ground outside a chicken shop in Croydon, south London, on November 18 2021. At the time of the killing, Walker, then aged 16, was on bail for carrying a large knife, the Old Bailey was told. 1. This is absolutely disgusting. To much political rubbish by the judge again. It don't matter how old they are if the use a knife and kills someone that should all go out the window. We have to many weak police and judges in the uk now. They do not protect the public. His sentence should of been 50 years no parole. Or hanged by the neck until you are dead.

  2. Why is he the first juvenile to be handled this way though? I'm definitely not dismissing his crime. If there are some circumstances that make this case stand out, or this is setting a precedent that reflects changing views regarding juvenile crime, I'm sure I could be convinced that everything is above board. I want to believe there aren't any… darker factors behind the decision. With so many young victims over the years, and so many crimes committed by children from every walk of life, why was it decided that this should be the case when age would be disregarded?

  3. Who/what is breeding these halfbreed Neanderthals? What a senseless act! Hopefully spending 19 years locked up means he can’t breed more like himself! Parents need to check on their sprogs!

  4. Personally I think they need to start doing this with all young people who are repeat offenders. The mentioned it being a machete and it looked like a sword.
It's heartbreaking what he did and he did it in cold blood. It wasn't a fight if someone is laying on the ground.
I think all of them should be filmed if they are one hundred percent undeniably guilty.
If there is not undeniable guilt then no it shouldn't be filmed.

  5. Why is it in the paper that it calls him a cannabis smoking machete weilding teenager.
What has cannabis got to do with this case?
The Papers are So quick to Add more things that in my opinion is irrelevant to the story!
