Chris Cote has a bad habit of derailing the Ron Magill segment with sex questions. I don’t want to keep listening to Ron talk about animal sex.
The last 3 weeks Dan has been pushing the broadcasters thing I’ve felt exactly how Mike felt. Dan was saying a lot without really making a statement of what he believes is happening. A big point that hasn’t been made, if I’m a company and I want to make a big splash- I would go at the top tier broadcasters that would catch the most attention. I get what Dan is getting at but he would need more facts, maybe minority broadcasters that felt they weren’t given a fair shot should talk on the show.

The iditarod officials said that resting the dogs was the right thing to do cause the weather was particularly harsh, however , they also said it gave that team an advantage which is why they were penalized. The dogs weren’t sheltered because of exhaustion and the team didn’t not get penalized for protecting their dogs. I thought both sides’ decisions made sense.

Tiger woods is transcendent for one reason. It is the same reason the the Williams are transcendent. White people are so racist they never thought black people could be better than them at country club sports like Golf and Tennis.
Not taking anything away from these athletes and their excellent skill. However, the fact that people are shocked at how these athletes are so good at these stuffy boring snob sports is just further proof of passive racism.
If Tiger woods was white, would this conversation be taking place? Really? Because there are hundreds of golfers that don’t get discussed 1/1000th as much as Tiger. Also, if these same golfers had the tabloid off course bullshit that Tiger has, they would be vilified, not praised for over coming or surviving scandals.
Rooting for Tiger is a comfortable way for people to virtue signal without coming off as woke. Notice now Dan never talks about Tiger on merit alone? Only talks about how remarkable it is to have been so good for so long and so famous for so long after all of the scandals.
As if being a lecherous scumbag who falls asleep while at the wheel of a car is something to praise or in any way is a sign of good character.
But Dan sees not a flawed man, but a famous Black athlete doing it in a traditionally white sport.
I agree with the racism in nfl broadcasting thing but Talib IS NOT the hill to die on with this issue like you guys are doing.

When Tiger last won The Masters, Mike decided to introduce the worst moment in show history – Corporate Mike – and spent the entire week just not letting anyone else talk about anything. Stu was furious

I think they need someone in there that pushes back on Dan instead of agrees or audience will be stuck at 10,500. For example I would say that a golf audience has a different expectation of their hero's than a fan of Motley Crue or Wilt Chamberlain. Different audiences, right wrong or race-bait-it otherwise, but that is why Tiger got broken down. I don't agree with the fairness of it but there are lot more nuclear families watching golf than basketball. BTW Easy response about my writing would be white racist, but that is lazy and not true.
