Former US President Donald Trump is due to speak at a campaign rally at the North Carolina Aviation Museum & Hall of Fame in Asheboro.
Trump has gone back to the policy focus that launched him into the presidency in 2016 by placing immigration at the heart of his 2024 presidential election campaign.
He is also vowing to recreate the low-inflation economy of his first term to woo voters angry at the steep rises in prices and interest rates during President Biden’s four years in the White House.
