In this episode onboard our LIVE ABOARD NARROWBOAT we take a trip to look for bigger boats. We finding ourselves in Portsmouth and at the Naval Dockyard where we see some super impressive ships including HMS PRINCE OF WALES!
Michael relives his youth and experiences both happiness and sadness seeing PORTSMOUTH harbour and exploring.
Jackie deals with essential daily chores for our OFF GRID LIFESTYLE in our TINY HOME and has to deploy the boat hook for a rescue. Michael finds the local WILDLIFE interrupts his start to our NARROWBOAT CRUISING day.

  1. I showed this one to my wife; Portsmouth is her home town. She recognized every square foot you walked. Your going on the Victory & seeing the Warrior had her sniffling with homesickness. She spent her childhood in Portsmouth, Southsea, and Gosport. Thank you!

  2. Very interesting, just a pity the guy telling you the range if the shell doesn't know his miles to km conversion. 10km isn't 7.5 miles but just over 6.2 miles. Wonder how long he's been telling folk that 🤔.
    Been to the yard but due to restoration work couldn't get on the ships. The museum was good though. Bet you wish you had some of that warmth now that its turned chilly. See you on the next one.
