Little Elephant Phabeni Meets the Herd at the Fence! Khanyisa, Timisa, Pisa, Limpopo & Kumbura!

Catch up with little Phabeni on a morning at the orphanage as he meets Khanyisa and some of the other elephant cows across the fence — including Timisa, Pisa, Limpopo and Kumbura.

There is a long road of healing ahead for Phabeni as he grieves the loss of one family and builds bonds with his new one. Fortunately the herd awaiting him are welcoming and accepting and ready to take him in as one of their own. Phabeni just needs the confidence and trust to take this next step.

Little by little, Phabeni. 🩷🐘💚

  1. i see that little back side kick Limpopo? i think or Pisa gave to Khanyisa. ive see that in other videos in a mother daughter, younger son, then newest baby where the eldest sibling protect the smallest from getting trampled with to much attention from another young sibling. i wonder if that was what that side judo kick was for, or No this ones mine dangit!😂

  2. I rewatched Khanyisa week 1 from 3 yrs ago. Definitely night and day. Phabeni in my opinion has a story we will never know & I believe we have no idea how this will play out realistically. We all support this beautiful little boy and that is all The carers or experts can do. As long as he's eating and not losing weight its a + . ❤

  3. We can see the delicate fabric of orphan ellies. I think Phabeni would literally have a fit if confronted with the Herd at this stage. Kudos to the respect you are showing him in giving him space and time to adapt, and He accept the Herd too.

  4. Maybe baby Phabeni thinks he's a little human boy, not a baby elephant, and is hiding in the tall grass because he's scared of elephants! He's spent the majority of his life with humans and thinks he's one too..with his pet named Lammie.

  5. When the one elephant got down to the ground, I thought she did it gracefully. Very impressed with her movement. I do not know anything about elephants, only that I wish them peace and love. They are magnificent. Thank you…

  6. That was so touching to see all the girls eagerly lined up side by side to get a glimpse of their newest & soon-to-be house mate 🤞 Perhaps Phabeni was a little overwhelmed by all the attention but in time he'll be one of the herd 🙏❤️🐘

  7. Are you gonna let Khanyisa come visit Phabeni in his stall like you did for Fenya? He might like that, because it would be one on one, and he’d be behind a stall door to feel safe?
