  1. EDIT: Not going to delete what I said below, but I went back and watched the play and Gof's throw was affected by pressure, so that was all on Nelson. Still not happy about that but I do have to own being wrong with this showing up in Goff's game again. It has been an issue in his past, but so far, since we started that 8-2 run last year, he has not had issues with it. So not as much on Goff, but I still wish he had the pocket presence to just throw it away or take the sack. However, hindsight is always 20/20 so I am not going to crucify him for taking the shot and playing to win.

Extremely disappointed and pissed off, Seattle wanted it more and our fans were let down. The turnovers are the biggest thing that stood out in the loss. On the most critical play of the game, Gibbs pass pro did not hold up and Goff's happy feet gave the game away on a pick six. Sure the refs did not help. Sure our coached failed to get the refs to call holding on our DL all game. Sure the fumbles did not help, but are you really worried about St. Brown and Monty fumbling going forward? Sure our defense could have played better, but they made enough plays to win, except when it counted the most in OT… Sure our OL did not hold up as well as we would like, but they sure held up better than Seattle. Really, at the end of the day, Geno Smith outplayed Jared Goff and that was the ultimate difference in the game. Goff is good, not great and I am not sold that this is not a better team down the road with a different guy at the helm. A guy who makes clutch plays under pressure instead of clutch mistakes. Maybe that never happens, and maybe we can win with our version of Joe Flacco / Eli Manning, but wed will not be winning BECAUSE of Jared Goff. Every time he faces a tough defense, or is under duress, all we can do is hope that he does not lose the game for us. Until proven otherwise, Jared is still the anti-clutch QB. At the end of the day, it has been proven three times in a row, that Jared Goff is no Geno Smith. Just let that sink in, savor it, and you tell me that Jared is the future of the Detroit Lions.

  2. Cant wait for moesely, jacobs just isnt a starting corner. I know mistakes alot of places but i think if we had just that side fixed plus fix turnovers thats a win, thats not mention the ususal blown calls only against us and never really for, the other blown coverages and the dline play. Seahwaks are a playoff team though and also plays the north hard, just ask the packers anytime in the playoffs lol

  3. Lions more total yards. Lions more passing yards. Lions more rushing yards. Lions more first downs. Lions better 3rd down efficiency. Lions more yards per play. Lions less punts. Lions less penalty yards.

Lions lose because of the turnovers. We will 100% get that cleaned up. We will be back next week. Keep your chin up fans.

  4. Today's game just showed Dan Campbell's lack of experience and judgement at crucial times in the game. Going for the 4th down in your own end of the field when you have a 7 point lead at home against a team that was beating up your defense. You just gave them a really short field against a gassed defense. Also going for the tie at the end of regulation when you had the timeouts and time in your favor.

  5. You know who I feel the worst for? Is Barry Sanders. On the day after a statue dedicated to him (after he left the game because the losses just killed his spirit), and we lose. The coaching staff and owners owe him a massive apology

  6. Secondary wasn’t that bad. We NEEED to get to the quarterback. Geno was enjoying himself back there. We were bound to get humbled at one point. Just bounce back. Still tied for first. Prepare for Bijan.

  7. My logical voice of reason was lost in a sea of hype.
I said, "The Lion's have a history of beating teams that they should have lost to, and a history of losing to teams that they should have beaten."

  8. I will say that AG is on the hot seat. Even with players that we have, we shouldn't be giving up 30+ points at home….. This team has issues, and it shows. If Kansas City Chiefs had their players and won the game, we would be 0-2, and defense would be even more under 🔥 offense, which scored 30+ points, which is good enough to win games. If the defense gives up points like they did this week for next week. Expect Campbell to make a big decision regarding the defense and AG. Campbell I read didn't coach well in the 2nd half, so he will be getting a lot of heat as well. If the Lions start the season 1-4 or 1-6 again…..I am afraid this coaching staff is in major trouble.

  9. So sick of all this covering and not throwing people under the bus, eff that, the defense had zero pressure, zero presence, and cost us the game. Goff played ok. Not really well. I feel like there is some disillusions going on here and it's a little scary.
