The very first game of the year. and once again the Refs were god awful.
Lions had 4 or 5 penalties that should have been called on them and the Chiefs got a way with 7 blatant holding calls on offense and Taylor was false starting on nearly every play in the second half.
The game shouldn't even been 21-20.
What I appreciate about the Lions is that they took their time to build their team backup, and have a chance to be seriously competitive for a long time. I can appreciate getting a star or two via trade or free agency ā¦. But, too many organizations commit to one season of fame and sacrifice their team. As a fan, of any team .. I prefer to see it done for the long term.
Honestly the Chiefs played like they were shook and Detroit was ice cold.

I'm sick of hearing who the Chiefs didn't have. Detroit didn't have their #1 CB Mosely or their #1 WR J Will. It's the NFL, you roll with the guys you have. The Chiefs were able to control St Brown, and that doesn't happen if J Will is playing so cry me a river. Bottom line, the Lions beat the Chiefs and that's all that matters šŖ
