  1. LET IT SINK IN:
Destroit beats KC with 1 point, with a team who's receivers dropped balls left and right and who's defense couldn't stop a cold in the 2nd half!
Patrick Mahomes played better than Goff. Football is a team sport after all.

  2. Not gonna overreact to week 1 but I think this is some foreshadowing to the chiefs season. As a packers fan I watched my team put everything on the qbs plate for a decade and football just doesn’t work that way. Mahomes was great and still only threw for <60% 220 yards 2 TDs 1 int. They won a SB last year but putting the offensive workload essentially all on kelce at 33 is going to play itself out sooner or later. Let’s not forget they coulda had DHop, and sky Moore is looking like a rotational receiver at best going into year two. Rice was their only bright spot but he’s not built like an X. Chiefs better not keep pushing that inevitable issue down the line too much longer because mahomes can’t win superbowls with these kinda games

  3. Chris Jones price did not go up. They gave up 14 pts. Solid pressure from karlaftas and the rookie FAU. If the Lions are as good as everyone is saying (I think they are). This game is on the WRs and playcalling 3rd and short. Defense did their job.

  4. People saying the chiefs get help from refs so if thats true when KT dropped his 3rd wide open pass. Why did they call a penalty against us🤔 they could have called anything on the lions offsides, holding, pass interference and gave us free first down. Giving us a chance to kill clock get a FG and escape with a W. Even when we lose people still bitch and complain about the refs. And before anybody say im salty trust me when i say i dont give a fuck. Its only week 1 learn from this and move on i saw this same team lose to the colts and still won a Superbowl. Congrats to the non cocky lions fans enjoy the W but to cocky lions fans pump the brakes on Superbowl talks you got the W yall feel like y'all on top of the world now. But don't forget who y'all are and always Will be you will not sniff the playoffs we'll still make it but yall won't. COMEBACK TO THIS COMMENT WHEN ITS TIME FOR PLAYOFFS. I WANT ALL THE SMOKE.

  5. Lions will at least make the playoffs but that's it and how about those chiefs getting exposed….no kelce and no jones means no repeat its over for the chiefs looks like they're n9t the next dynasty after all

  6. Lions made great defensive halftime adjustments. KC needs another O playmaker, just like I say about Josh Allen, Mahomes can’t do everything by himself and that’s the position he’s gonna be put in every time Kelce or one of his receivers get injured. Id consider Mike Evans at this point, or maybe try to trade for Cooper Kupp?? (Btw, I’d absolutely HATE that as a Bills fan 🤣) Idk, KC’s defense did alright without Jones, just trade him and use the cap space to nab a receiver or something. Anyways, great win by the Lions…don’t wanna take anything away, going into Arrowhead & walking away w a win on opening night when they’re hanging their banner is no small feat.

  7. What I don't respect is the gentleman that's on the right, don't give someone credit only to discredit them in the same sentence. Just give the respect the Detroit Lions deserve. I don't want to hear about Kansas City, not having their 2 players and all of this other stuff, because it was a lot of calls that was not called in that game that most definitely should have been called for the lions.. But if you're going to get on a podcast, be professional about it, don't discredit a person that changed the mentality of a team that wasn't doing very well. The man went into an organization along with other people, and he gave a new identity to the Detroit Lions, a different feel, so let's all just give credit where credit is due, because if it was the other way around, it would have been see Kansas City, this Kansas City, that so stop. 💯

  8. Oh god quit it. The lions offense only scored 14 points. Chiefs high school receivers they gambled on is definitely not it. Chris jones is not the answer it’s those him stone hand receivers. That pick six was a lucky pick that bounced off a chiefs receiver hands because they can’t catch

  9. By admitting how much mahomes misses kelce and jones only means that mahomes can't carry the team on his back… he's always going to need help. Let's see if he can make household names out of unknown receivers…
