  1. Don’t wanna hear about KC missing Jones and Kelce, dropping passes, etc. The Lions were without Moseley and Jamo, had MJ drop 2 key balls and had to deal with Juwaan Taylor lining up illegally and jumping early all night long. Found a way to win despite all that on the road in the most hostile environment in football. This is a different team and they’ll only get better from here. Go Lions.

  3. Lions were missing more players than Kansas city. Their best corner back (recovery from knee surgery) their best deep receiver (suspension) two defensive tackles. Houston would of had a sack, when he had Mahomes in the grasp. Usually the officials will blow the whistle, to protect the qb. He was getting bear hugged, tackled, and held all night.

  4. You got to love Brad whooping it up with the fans.

I love their draft strategy too, drafting character guys. There was no way they even considered that DL (forget his name, had the car racing issue). 4 rookies contributing in a big way

  5. First two drives made me mad; first down run for good yardage, then they pass on second?!?! Run that ball again. Same thing happened on second possession. I really want to see them pound the ball more. But win is a win

  6. I cannot wait to see next week at Ford Field. I don’t know that there will be a more radical crowd all season. If Seattle thinks it’s loud and they have a 12th man – they haven’t seen NOTHING yet.

  7. I really don’t think that not playing in the preseason leads to “Rust” in the first game. The miss fires on the first couple of series at KC can be attributed to adrenalin. Everyone is amped up for that first “real” game. Once they get Hit and give out a few hits, they can settle in and just play. The starters get plenty of reps in practice and the risk of injury is high enough in practice, there is no need to add to that risk by playing in the preseason. Barry always had the flu on Sundays before the games counted for real……
