Lion El’Jonson, also known as The Lion and The First, is the Primarch of the Dark Angels. He was scattered along with the other Primarchs to the far corners of the galaxy. He finally came to rest on the world Caliban, a beautiful but blighted world tainted by Chaos due to its proximity to the Eye of Terror. Lion El’Jonson was renowned for a level of strategic brilliance and martial prowess that was rivaled perhaps only by Horus, but was distrusted by his brother Primarchs for his secretive and taciturn nature. The Chaos emissary to Lorgar called him the Duelist.

Vulkan ended up on a death world, the volcanic Nocturne
They RUINED his model. Cutting his mane, giving him a moustache and making him look like TTS Rogal Dorn in a green paintjob was an UTTER TRAVESTY.
Fight me.
One thing i never understood is how the baby primarchs survive at all, most of the primarchs get some kind of parent or someone that takes them in for better or for worse.
But how does the lion, just plopped down in the middle of a big ass forst filled with monsters, grow up at all?
Is this baby just crawling around, snapping small monster necks and eating them or what?
cpt Genocide…. Thank you, i havent been able to unhear that since i first heard it from this vid..
Lion from now on in my mind will be cpt Genocide
Oh the Toys he has! Love the Lion! That Forestwalking ability reminds me of the Silfen paths the Silfen used in the Commonwealth trilogy by Peter f. Hamilton, think Exodite Eldar, sorta
The lion hunted the knights of lupus. Canis lupus is the scientific name for Eurasian wolves.
He hunted the wolves.
Caliban and it’s society basically sounds like Attack on Titan
I'm just binge watching those Ridiculous episodes while painting, always a blast. But I can't find a single episode on the Raven guard, is it for a future video ?
If you edit DK out of these podcasts, it becomes a lot better and still flows perfectly.
Why does the lion look like Kirioth?
To me, the Lion is like a no bullshit type of guy that finds themselves really out of place and unwilling to play part in office politics. Definitely gives off the: “IDGAF about your baby pictures Barbara, I’m just here to do my goddamn job”
I love how hard He goes
Very unsocial
Yet extremely good Character
Still, that Girly Sword breaking scene is one of My Favorites
It let both go Hard You know?
This is the best chance the imperium could’ve gotten. Robute is the master overall tactician and politics/government type, while Lionel is the master battlefield, on the front lines tactician. The imperium has got sound leadership now.
Lion’s Stepfather after getting his stepson’s seed planted in Him: 😳
Dark Angels are NOT based on Arthurian legend. They're based on Knight Templar. Black Templar are based on Arthurian knights. DA have fortress monestaries (KT), allged sins (KT), over the top secrecy (KT), Orders (KT). Black Templar have holy hand grenades (arthur), multiple vows (arthur) hate witches (arthur) and have quests.
horussy oh no
Context for "gee whizz rick"?
SPACE MARINE – SCIFI KNIGHT
DARK ANGEL SPACE MARINE- UBER KNIGHT IN SCIFI
it make sense to hunt down all who may know DA seacret weaponaa.
it not make sense doing it 10k year tho. and GW agree to move on from that
I will prabably never own a dark angels army… but I now really like the lion and what he stands for. I will definitely get his mini to have him standing proudly next to his brother.
ngl, really enjoy the term "Captain Genocide" Even though I shouldn't.
They called him a darksouls boss… Anybody else getting Godfrey the Golden vibes from Lion? Regal looking but actually a savage beast?
Hi when DK is referring to the 6 wings angel he is almost right the 6 wings "angels" are "séraphins" (in the old testament) they are in the first place in the angels hierarchy, it is said that they fly around the THRONE OF GOD also in the mediavals ages they had red wings for more style
Captain Genocide? More like General Genocide.
Russ is the Executioner in that he is there to keep the other Primarchs in line and enforce the Emporer's will by maintaining order.
The Lion is the Primarch that is there not enforce the Emporer's will…but to wipe out the threat that jeopardizes the peace needed to have order.
In this sense he is worse than even Angron. Angron is there to be brutal to make tough enemies submit. The Lion is there not to not to make them submit but to exterminate them.
You need to talk about the Killdozer on detective ridiculous. It's one of the craziest things to every happen on American soil.
I think The Lion looks a lot like Eli Wallach.
Where new video?
iTunes podcast is still not updating. The last episode is about killer squirrels and other Xenos
Are we on a break?
The night lord are always described as cowards, maybe it's because of it referring to 40k and not 30k. But when ordered to fight the dark angels they just did it, make me think of the Ghost meme: any issues? Negative sir.
One thing I never liked about the way they talk about Luther is everyone chalks it up to jealousy, dude just went Mean Girls one day. I think I disagree.
Luther grew up in the society and world of Caliban, and probably had expectations on how to lead it and maybe rule one day. Greatest man of his age, he may have had a whole network of plans to bring powers together and build something of value; we're told this much because he is in the process of u offing many disparate orders of Knights.
Then he finds the Lion, helps him acclimate to being human, and even steps to the side when the Luon is clearly the better choice of leadership to murder a bunch of chaos dragons.
But Luther had more in mind for his world than endless war and conquest, and all those hopes fall apart the moment the Emperor arrives. Now Luther's dreams are small and swallowed up by the greater dream of the Emperor (a bonfire of dreams, for you Berserk fans).
Then the Lion fucks off, taking the best and brightest of Caliban to the stars, leaving Luther the ruler of a world ruined by industry and only exists to manufacture goods and send men to build a galaxy he can barely see.
The Lion gave Luther a raw deal from the jump, was a terrible brother and, frankly, just a bad Primarch. The Lion was afraid of what would happen if he ever stopped or slowed down long enough to realize he was deficient as a leader and a person, and he passed that crippling fear onto his Legion of Dark Angels, who have been running around the galaxy in mad-cap style, afraid for ten thousand years someone finds out their little secrets.
Ya suban el episodio de arks of omen the lion
Is there something that heppened for Apple Podcasts? It hasn't gotten a new episode since March 22nd
"Boromir would have chosen Imperial Guard"
extremely based
27:18
lion as a dark souls boss is so fitting
You forgot the part that the Lion won that duel but couldn’t finish Luthor. Then there is the whole thing of cheap shooting the Lion
"Luther was the greatest man Caliban would have ever seen, and he was born at the same time as the Lion"
Has strong parallels to, Lex Luthor was the smartest man Metropolis has ever seen. But he had the misfortune of living at the same time as super man.
Both Individuals represent the peak of what a normal human can be. But have the misfortune of being born around the same time a Demi God is dropped onto their world. And are driven mad by jealousy, suspicion, and festering envy.
Why was "Rick" muted in "aww geez Rick"?
