  1. This whole time I thought โ€œhard rโ€ meant the r-word tooโ€ฆ

I mean cmon, the term โ€œn-wordโ€ exists, and โ€œhard rโ€ just suits the r-word better lol.

  2. Iโ€™ve never really understood how this was a โ€œcareer enderโ€ or something bad, as both the hard r and the r slur are slurs (pun unintended), neither of them are worse and i kinda feel bad for Linus (at least in this scenario) because he was saying some pretty real stuff.

  3. To be fair to Linus, I am probably a bit older than him, and DID drop my fair share of Hard Rs simply because in the 80s, it wasn't considered as taboo, and I think most of us children didn't even realize it was a bad thing to say. I grew up in a progressive family in a very ethnically diverse city and It was never really said by us with any actual racial intent, it was just a word. I would never use it now, but hell, growing up, well into the 90s Ding-Dong-Ditch had a VERY different name and we just never really thought about it.

  4. So, this was a very very very fake segment. If you don't think that either of these guys know what "Hard R" is you're living in a clown world. They literally did this for the views and it's pathetic.

  5. I actually can't. this is the funniest clip I have seen all year. Why haven't I seen it before???

I was so worried about everything, even just the setting. The title and the recommended videos, all suggesting what I expected and then the video is what it is. I was melting and ethically heartbroken. I thought the other guy's reaction was very mild to Linus' confessions, and then the sky had turned blue. Linus mind was suddenly more innocent than ever before.
