To be fair to Linus, I am probably a bit older than him, and DID drop my fair share of Hard Rs simply because in the 80s, it wasn't considered as taboo, and I think most of us children didn't even realize it was a bad thing to say. I grew up in a progressive family in a very ethnically diverse city and It was never really said by us with any actual racial intent, it was just a word. I would never use it now, but hell, growing up, well into the 90s Ding-Dong-Ditch had a VERY different name and we just never really thought about it.
So, this was a very very very fake segment. If you don't think that either of these guys know what "Hard R" is you're living in a clown world. They literally did this for the views and it's pathetic.
