Linkin Park – The opening livestream, the LA Concert, and my thoughts so far…..

Linkin park are back babay!
It’s been an insane week for Linkin Park fans – we have had it all but the future is bright.
This is my reaction to the latest livestream, the latest concert at the Kia forum in LA.
We also touch on a few controversial topics, which are my opinions. Feel free to comment your thoughts but please keep it respectful.
We are all human at the end of the day.

Much love LP fans! I’m over the moon we are back.

  1. nice job. i was watching the livestream live and didnt think it was as bad as your experience. i thought it was fantastic all things considered. you had the band playing together live for the first time in years. there was a new drummer and a guest guitarist sitting in for brad and that was before we even got to emily. so i'm sure there was a lot of nerves just among the band. then emily comes out for the very first time with enormous pressure on her. you could tell how nervous she was just by her body language. i don't think she started settling in until the last 4 or 5 songs. she was also very emotional as you mentioned. she didn't quit singing because she couldn't hit the notes, she quit because she was crying. anyway, they got through that, then came out and kicked ass in the LA show. As you said everyone was much more comfortable. She was also just as strong at the end of the set which is pretty amazing. It sounded like you've watched the 1 hour interview with the entire band. For anyone that hasn't, its a must watch. They explain how everything kinda came to pass. i think shes a great fit. Cant wait for the new album, and can't wait for them to announce touring dates for 2025. Hopefully they'll come to Australia so you can see them.

  2. Well… they should have formed a new band like the foo fighters did.

50% of the members and voices are gone. This smells like a marketing decision.

Expensive tickets for the initial concert. There are also fans with lesser money 😢😢

I don't like her voice at all. Very average, nothing special

The melodies are mostly good… but the voice does not fit or give it that extra

  3. the live stream concert was okay, it just was the first time making her nervous and she pushed hard and it was actually entirely live without any playback etc, thats why it sounded so rough/raw, mike coached and directed her how to be more herself and last the tour, she got emotional during wfte
