  1. Very enjoyable introduction to how you approach the gameplay in the life series. Since limited life ended, I've been rewatching different perspectives of the previous series. I like how even with real-life issues getting in the way, you've been able to create workarounds to explain why things are happening the way they do. Keep up the great work!
Side note, I highly enjoyed your win. While I'm bummed Team TIES didn't get the win, I think you explained it well, and I hope the booty tickled fans can understand this was a much more appropriate outcome for how the game was playing out anyways.
Now, time to view LittleWoods perspective!

  2. I don't know if you're still bothering to read comments on this by now, but when you were talking about how Gem getting subbed in for Cleo was just you having to "make the lore work around the content creators and real life", I did get reminded that Gem does actually have some stated lore for her Minecraft character that I'm not sure if or not you're aware of. Lore that kinda does seem like it would slot nicely into the Life series lore if finagled a bit.

During the Hermitcraft/Empires crossover, Gem goes on record in her videos to state that her Minecraft character is some kind of shapeshifting celestial entity capable of travelling between worlds at will. In Empires, she decided that she wanted to be a princess, so she became one. In Hermitcraft, she decided to be an elf, and thus she was.

Obviously Gem isn't a mainstay in the Life series or its lore or anything, I just thought that there might be a possibility that there could be something there, especially if Gem does participate in a future Life season as more than just a sub-in.

  4. talking about your ending choice. I LOVED IT. It gives different tones for each season, as well it was so fun, to be surprised by it and laugh along with your excitement at the end. there is always something lovely when you see the person who truly has a story in mind having their go. Your ending speech will make lovely art/animatic sources.

  5. I was upset by the ending not by what you did because it was so emotional it was Soo good like the bdubs betrayal in third life or when scar and grian fought dogwarts. I'm proud of you martin…

  6. When they talk about how there all fine and healed after each game because there negative emotions are stripped away. And you can see each time no one cares about the events in the previous games, but when Martin was with scot and peal. Peal asked if Martin had Tilly, and she seemed pretty angry and upset about it. But Martin just laughed it off with the cremation joke, so she seems to show some anger from before hand

  7. Honestly, I loved that ending. I'm glad to see you on the life series, and sad that people don't see that it's all entertainment. It was the first time I followed your perspective, and can't believe I didn't do it sooner.

  8. I just had a out there idea
So I know not to much about watcher lore but from what I've understood, I think grumbot prime might be a watcher
I think that grumbot is a watcher that got demoted or something from being a watcher and is using the rift to try and take out grian to satisfy the watchers so he can be a full watcher again.
Just an idea but I think it's pretty cool!

  9. With all of the talk of the watchers feeding on negative emotions and having a particular taste for them I started to think about them as snooty food critics.

All I can think about now is how the watchers are snooty food critics.

    Help.

  10. I agree it would have been pretty anti climatic if they just did it as a fair fist fight, it should have been a more intense battle to the death so martyns decision was 100% better otherwise it would have been so flat with no high stakes

  11. Despite Impulse not winning in the end, I still like your ending cause it's different from the previous ones (hurtful battle of the bffs, the survival of the fittest ending, the sacrifice) and now we have a betrayal, balancing the life series' endings.

What I was expecting was Scott sacrificing himself again, which is the least I wanted cause he already did that last season.

Also, I'm not really invested to the Watcher lore that I can put winged ears to my Grian style (it's cool when people draw him like that tho) and make theories about it XD I just see all of you as friends stuck in the same world, having fun with your own ways while killing each other.

Those commenters who are not giving much thought to what they say don't deserve to watch your content. Stay amazing.

  12. There was a lot less feeling behind the skynet kills, nobody was really "mad" at a particular person for them, presumably since you can't see them do it and you know they were just trying to kill anyone. After a few seconds, I can't even remember who did it or who died.

In Last Life, Bdubs didn't just boogey kill his teammate Tango, he did so after Tango gave him a life to bring him back out of red, instead of waiting for the curse to lift at the end of the session. Tango had also already transferred a life to Scar to stop him from blowing up the Snow Castle.

  13. wait is that the second time scott dies cause he is unarmed and has nothing 😂😂😂 love that ending though it would’ve been boring with just a slap fight

  14. I've been watching Grian and Jimmy since Evo (Grian mostly, and since earlier) and I loved the concept of the Watchers. Unfortunately I've missed out on so much of the lore that now I'm kind of lost.

  15. From what part of the fandom I’ve seen, people have decided that Speakers could be players who act against the script and such, this is just an idea I had seen and really liked tho and I haven’t delved too far in

  16. I came up with a poem for the speaker idea( I decided to call them Tellers, like tellers of stories)

    There are those who Watch,
    And also those who Listen.
We are those would who fall
On neither side of this division.

    We Watch the chaos
    And Listen to the cries
    Of those in this cycle
    Of endless demise

    We record and recount
The stories of those who fell,
For we do not merely Watch or Listen,
    We are those who Tell.

  17. You'd think people would have learnt about your predilection for betrayal after the "Bad Math" incident in Double Life …

Joking aside, i dont know what horrifies me more: the buse you recieved over the finale, ir the fact that youve been subjected to enough that it doesnt affect you anymore. Glad to hear youre doing okay though
